If Mitch Wein had taken the job offer from the I.R.S. he might be sitting in a small gray cubicle preparing to audit your organization. Fortunately, he chose another path, leading to the bottom of the ladder at Abert, Newhoff & Burr, a small ad agency in Los Angeles.
His copywriting there earned him a two-year, sleep-free stint at one of the world’s best agencies, Chiat/Day L.A.

Tired of the sun and the tall, blond, angular actresses, Mitch returned to New York, working at Ally & Gargano, DDB, Young & Rubicam, Chiat/Day and Lintas. In 1993, he founded Vogt/Wein in Westport, Connecticut, where he was Partner and Co-Executive Creative Director. Over the next nine years the agency grew to 25 million in billings and became part of the Interpublic Group of Companies. His clients at V/W included Oxford Health Plans, Allied Domecq, Samsung and Wellesley College. Prior to starting his own shop, Mitch contributed to the success of a number of the nation’s leading marketers, including Diet Coke, Volkswagen, Foster Farms, Molson, Reebok, Pizza Hut and AT&T. Mitch’s work has earned awards from the One Show, Communications Arts, New York Art Directors, Andy’s and the Clios. Mitch Wein’s campaign for Samsung resides in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art.

Mitch received his B.S. at Northeastern University. He is an aggressive, but skillful driver who takes calculated risks in order to be on time for meetings.
